Site Rules

We're all here for fun, so chill out. If you have problems, communicate--politely. We want to have a laid-back group here. If you have issues IC or OOC that you can't brush aside or handle on your own, the staff team can attempt to help mediate.

Please RP out your power fantasies at a different site. Godmodding, Mary-sues, power-playing, and other things that make RPing the exact opposite of fun for everyone but yourself will get you a warning, and then a ban.

We believe in quality writing. There is no word count. This is not in place for you to be lazy with short posts--it is the opposite. If what you write has no purpose but word bloat, then don't write it. Every sentence should count.

Make one account per character. Characters are based on tarot cards. You are allowed only one major arcana character, who are major PCs. You are allowed unlimited minor arcana characters, who are considered the supporting cast.

The major arcana characters will move to a new location every two weeks OR every month, depending on how active we are. There will be an activity check when we go to a new location. Characters that are lost in activity checks are written out of the plot; they may be killed off if that is the best for the group plot.

New locations are developed by volunteer members. Please RP primarily the current chapter of the story. You may use older locations through liquid time, but we should focus on moving the site plot forward in the current chapter rather than posting flashback threads in older locations.

All members are expected to eventually work on a new location. This responsibility involves coming up with either historical and cultural details for a towns and cities, or developing challenges and sites of interest for wilderness or dungeon exploration. This involves writing setting/plot information, playing NPCs, and making quests.

Anything is allowed in our RP as long as it's within our high fantasy setting. However, keep threads PG-13, so PB doesn't close us down. The cbox should also be kept PG-13, as well as a safe place that's open and accepting of all people.

Face-claims are preferably animanga in style, but we will accept illustrative art on a case-by-case basis. Because of the rarity of fantasy-appropriate face-claims, we will also accept FCs from original art rather than a character from a specific series on a case-by-case basis.

Finally, Avatars are 100x100px. You may also add a banner which will appear when your custom title is hovered over. Profile banners are 440x90px. To install it, copy the direct link of your image into you profile's website url.
